President Bush is about to sign a bill into law to promote the use of energy efficient servers in the United States. The bill also provides for the EPA to have a good hard look at data centers and what can be done to cut their energy consumption. The bill passed the house 417 to 4; the Senate voted unanimously. We are going to see at lot more this this, lawmakers doing what they do best - make laws. I think a round of applause is in order!
