Green is My Grid

Grid Computing is up and coming form of technology that uses many networked computers to model a virtual computer architecture that is able to distribute process execution across a parallel infrastructure. Wow. It's an interesting idea to soak up all of those extra computing cycles from all over the world, or from a data center that has a few billions extra cycles per second. The Green Grid is a fine resource that describes the concept in more depth. Also, there is a good list of distributed computing projects on Wikipedia as well.
